DCT series camera are a digital camera especially designed for telescope. It works perfectly with any kind of optical telescopes. The images of the observed object can be genuinely displayed on computer screen. With the software, it is very convenient to preview live image and to capture still picture.
How to mount DCT onto telescope? It is simple and easy. Remove the eyepiece from the telescope ocular tube. Insert a DCT camera into the ocular tube and fix it by tightening the locking-screw. Plug DCT to USB2.0 port of your computer. Then you get it! DCT is a version of USB2.0, so please make sure that it is plugged into USB2.0 port in PC.
Usually we called it telescope eyepiece cam, It is a simple apparatus that makes use of modern technology in a very inexpensive way. it is a wonderfully inexpensive way to enjoy simple astrophotography.
